COMPOSITION: Cefoperazone 1g+ Sulbactum 500 Mg
FORMULATION: Injection
Description: CEFTICAT S 1.5 gm Injection is a combination of Cefoperazone (1 g) and Sulbactam (500 mg). It is a broad-spectrum beta-lactam/beta-lactamase inhibitor antibiotic used for the treatment of a wide range of moderate to severe bacterial infections. Cefoperazone acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Sulbactam enhances its effectiveness by inhibiting beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria.
It is commonly used in respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, septicemia, and hospital-acquired infections.
