Description:	AgroGermina Suspension is an oral suspension of spores of polyantibiotic-resistant Bacillus clausii (strain UBBC-07), with 2 billion spores in each 5 ml mini bottle. It is a probiotic that helps restore the balance of gut bacteria and is sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner. Bacillus clausii is a spore-forming bacterium. Its spores are protected by a tough coat that lets them survive stomach acid and bile, and the strain is resistant to several antibiotics. In the intestine, the spores germinate into active bacteria that compete with harmful microbes, support the gut barrier and help restore the normal gut flora. It is generally prescribed during or after antibiotic treatment and as supportive therapy in diarrhoea.
