COMPOSITION: Glimepiride (1mg) + Metformin (500mg) (sr) + Pioglitazone (15mg) (double Color)
FORMULATION: Tablet
Description: MEPRIMET P 1 Tablet is a triple-combination antidiabetic medication containing:

Glimepiride 1mg – a sulfonylurea that stimulates insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells.

Metformin (SR) 500mg – a biguanide that reduces hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity, with sustained-release action for prolonged effect.

Pioglitazone 15mg – a thiazolidinedione that enhances insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues.

This combination is used for the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, especially in patients requiring triple therapy for better glycemic control. It targets multiple pathways involved in glucose metabolism, providing comprehensive and sustained blood sugar control.
