Description: Mikzole Plus Suspension is an anti-parasitic medication used to treat various worm infestations in children, such as roundworm and tapeworm infections. It works by disabling the worms, preventing them from utilizing the child’s nutrients, eventually leading to their elimination from the body.
For better absorption and effectiveness, administer Mikzole Plus Suspension orally, preferably along with a fat-rich food like milk. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the dose, you may repeat the same dose. However, if it’s already close to the time for the next dose, do not double up—simply continue as per the schedule. The treatment duration will vary depending on the specific type of worm involved.
In most cases, a single dose is sufficient. To prevent re-infection, the doctor may recommend a repeat dose after two weeks. However, certain infections might require a longer course, possibly lasting several days or weeks. In such situations, it's important to follow the prescribed duration strictly. Stopping treatment too early can lead to the return of the infection.
